PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold-releasing mechanism in a resin sheet thermoforming machine which can release a mold smoothly and surely although it is simple in constitution. SOLUTION: Out of molds installed in a vacuum pressure forming machine 10 as the thermoforming machine, an upper mold 13 is constituted by arranging female molds 15 having an innumerable number of recesses 15a in a plurality of lines and rows. A molding surface 17 is formed of the lower surface of the female mold 15 and the inner wall surface of the recess 15a. In the female mold 15 constituting the upper mold 13, a vent hole 15b opened in the molding surface 17 is formed, and an air circuit 20 is connected to the other end of the vent hole 15b. The air circuit 20 is constituted to be able to eject mold release air to a molding adhering to the molding surface 17, so that the mold is released by the mold release air which is ejected intermittently.
