<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyolefin-modified (meth)acrylic resin that exhibits excellent adhesion to a polyolefin resin and also exhibits excellent effects when used as a compatibilizer of a polyolefin resin and other thermoplastic resins. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The polyolefin-modified (meth)acrylic resin (C) is obtained by causing a polyolefin resin (A) having only one end thereof modified with an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid or an α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid anhydride to react with a (meth)acrylic resin (B) bearing an epoxy group.
