<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for readily screening a remedy of multiple system atrophy by using a TUBG2 gene-deficient mouse. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The method for screening the remedy of the multiple system atrophy includes dosing a test substance to a medium spiny neuron of corpus striatum in a nonhuman animal having deficient function of tubulin γ2 gene, and selecting the test substance by using one of the influences of the test substance on the shape of a mitochondrion of the neuron, the released amount of a GABAergic neurotransmitter, and the content of ATP as an index.
