Provided is an information processing technique for speedily positioning an ultrasonic image and a three-dimensional medical image.  An information processing apparatus is provided with a medical image acquisition section (101) which acquires the medical image photographed by a medical image photographing apparatus (110) which photographs thereof at a position where a photographing section for photographing the internal state of a subject does not contact with the subject, an ultrasonic image acquisition section (102) which acquires the ultrasonic image photographed by an ultrasonic image photographing apparatus (120) which photographs thereof at a position where the an ultrasonic probe for photographing the internal state of the subject contacts with the surface of the subject, and a coordinate transformation section (104) which transforms the coordinates of the medical image or the ultrasonic image such that image information relating to the medical image and that of the ultrasonic image match, with the contact position on the ultrasonic image as the reference.
