The hydrodynamic radial bearing (11) has a bearing bush, which coaxially surrounds a shaft (4) of a rotor (2). A shaft facing inner side of the bearing bush or a bearing bush facing outer side of the shaft is provided with a groove structure. The groove structure is designed as a microstructure.
