METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AUTO EXPOSURE

PURPOSE: A method for controlling auto exposure is provided to stably and rapidly control average luminance value of an image frame by differently setting the index moving step according to the distance with the final target value. CONSTITUTION: An exposure table and analog gain table are made(S11). An average luminance value of an image frame is calculated (S12). If the average luminance value is not exist within determined setting section, a table index moving step is calculated(S13,S14). The exposure time and the analog gain corresponding according to the produced moving step calculating to the carried index, respectively reads from the exposure table and analog gain table. The exposure time and analog gain are applied to an image sensor(S15).
