PURPOSE: A display automatic control apparatus of the vehicle terminal and a method thereof are provided to improve visibility by automatically controlling the brightness of the display at the daytime in consideration of the location of the sun and progressive direction of the vehicles. CONSTITUTION: A display automatic control apparatus(100) of the vehicle terminal comprises a GPS(Global Positioning System) receiver(110), a mobile communications part(120), a map DB(130), a display controller(140), and an information extraction part(150). The receiver receives the time information, real-time location information, and weather information. The information extraction part presently extracts the information of sunlight from the received information. According to the extracted sunlight information, the display controller controls the brightness of the display device. |
