PURPOSE: A phosphor is provided to ensure color stability to temperature in driving for a long time and to practice white light with low color temperature in applying to a light emitting device chip. CONSTITUTION: A phosphor has a hexagonal system crystal structure(T phase) of chemical formula 1 and is denoted by chemical formula Ca_(2-x-y-z)Ba_xEu_yMn_zSiO_4. In chemical formula 2, x is 0.4 <x<1.6, y is 0.005< y<0.2, and z is 0 <= z < 0.2. A phosphor structure has a crystalline structure corresponding to a standard powder pattern(JCPDS) #36-1449, #48-0210, or #17-0930.
