ORGANIC ELECTROLUMINESCENT ELEMENT AND VISIBLE LIGHT COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which includes a higher cutoff frequency, and to provide a visible light communication device including the same.

SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes: a transparent first electrode 2 formed on a surface of a transparent substrate 1; a hole transport layer 3 laminated on the first electrode to transport holes; a light-emitting layer 4 comprising a layer of an organic compound having a layer thickness of 1 to 5 nm and laminated on the hole transport layer to emit light; an electron transport layer 5 laminated on the organic compound layer to transport electrons; and a second electrode 6 laminated on the electron transport layer.
