摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect correcting circuit which does not require a buffer for temporary holding when perpendicularly contiguous pixels of the same color are additively read out, and to provide an imaging device with the defect correcting circuit. <P>SOLUTION: The detect correcting circuit includes: a storage unit for storing the address of a defective pixel of a solid-state imaging element; and a defective pixel correction unit which compares the address of the defective pixel with the address of a pixel corresponding to a pixel signal read out of the solid-state imaging element and corrects the pixel signal that a pixel having the matching address outputs. The solid-state imaging element is enabled to perform addition output with perpendicularly contiguous (k) pixels of the same color, and the storage unit is provided with (k) storage elements 35-1 to 35-k for storing addresses of the defective pixels corresponding to the (k) pixels of the same color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
