PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cabinet and a toilet unit for suppressing breakage of the cabinet and smoothly opening/closing a door. SOLUTION: The cabinet 10 joins arm parts 13b and a base part 13c to make a joint metal fitting 13 a unit and fixes the joint metal fitting 13 to be the unit to a deep wall 11e of the cabinet 10, so that a pair of arm parts 13b are pivoted without rotation axes shifting from the base part 13c and a rotation trajectory of an end part on the door 12 side of the arm parts 13b is not shifted but fixed. Thus, when the door 12 is opened/closed, extra force is not given to joint parts between the arm parts 13b and the base part 13c and between the arm parts 13b and a fixed part 13a, so that breakage of the joint parts between the arm parts 13b and the base part 13c and between the arm parts 13b and a fixed part 13a is suppressed and the door 12 is also smoothly opened/closed.
