<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope with a balloon which allows an operator to carry out a fine adjustment operation easily and without fatigue with one fingertip of the hand holding an operating section when the fine adjustment of an expansion condition of the balloon is necessary. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The operating section 3 is connected to the proximal end of an insertion section 1. The operating section has a switch valve 10 that switches conditions among a closed condition in which a liquid is neither supplied to nor discharged from the balloon 2, a liquid supply condition in which liquid is supplied to the balloon 2, and a liquid discharge condition in which the liquid is discharged from the balloon 2, and a switch valve-operating member 4 that switches, only by itself, the condition of the switch valve 10 among the closed condition, the liquid supply condition and the liquid discharge condition.
