<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine easy in attaching-detaching work of a supercharger. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An engine E is formed by installing a turbocharger 50 via a turbocharger bracket 20, and is characterized in that the turbocharger 50 has a fastening flange 54 fastened to the turbocharger bracket 20 by a bolt 74 with a hexagonal hole, and a bolt hole 58 being a fastening part in the fastening flange 54 is opened in the attaching-detaching direction of the bolt 74 with the hexagonal hole.
