摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device which can highly precisely measure a respiration rate in a state including the influence of oxygen supply from an interface between a liquid phase region and a gas phase region on the liquid phase region to the liquid phase in a culture tank. SOLUTION: A measurement method includes an enhancing process for supplying an oxygen-containing fluid to the inside of the culture tank to increase the dissolved oxygen concentration to a preset upper limit control value, when the dissolved oxygen concentration in the culture tank is lowered to a preset lower limit control value, and a lowering process for stopping or reducing the supply of the oxygen-containing fluid to the inside of the culture tank or supplying an oxygen-containing fluid having a lowered oxygen concentration to the inside of the culture tank, to lower the dissolved oxygen concentration to the lower limit control value, when the dissolved oxygen concentration in the culture tank is increased to the upper limit control value, and calculates the respiration rate from the number of repeated operations between the increasing processes and the lowering processes during a preset time interval.
