PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding door unit which enables easy opening and closing operation of a sliding door while achieving high sound insulation, airtightness, or thermal insulation with a simple structure by surely sticking the sliding door to a door contact surface of a doorway through a packing. SOLUTION: The soundproof sliding door unit 2 is inclined at a predetermined angle with respect to a traffic line of the sliding door 38 so that the contact surface 38c of the sliding door 38 contacting with the door contact surface is slightly turned to a closed position side, and the door contact surface is inclined at an angle almost the same as the predetermined angle. The upper traffic line of the sliding door 38 is formed by the guide of a guide rail 16 so that the traffic line approaches the doorway immediately before a closed position as it approaches a closed position. The lower traffic line of the sliding door 38 is formed by the guide of a sash sheave rail 25 so as to be almost parallel to a wall W and straight. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
