PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oil pan that can exhibit a high heat insulating performance and high rigidity. SOLUTION: The oil pan (10) is formed in a vessel shape which is open toward the body (100) of an internal combustion engine, and equipped with a first metal member (11) to store oil, a heat insulating member (12) to cover the whole surface of the first metal member on its side opposite to the side contacting with the oil, and a second metal member (13) to cover a surface of the heat insulating member at a side opposite to the first metal member side, wherein the heat insulating member is fixed to the first and second metal members.
