PURPOSE: A system and a method capable of reducing a GPS cold start time are provided to shorten the GPS cold start time with calculating a position of a terminal from a transmitting station in advance. CONSTITUTION: A GPS receiver(131) receives a GPS satellite information. A server(133) generates an assistant data from the GPS satellite information. A mobile communications transmitter(132) transmits the assistant data to the terminal.
