<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally adjust power of each wavelength of an optical signal after multiplexing regardless of the condition of noise included in an input optical signal. <P>SOLUTION: A VOA 130 varies power of optical signals of respective wavelengths which are separated according to wavelength by attenuation. An optical receiver (PD1) 131 detects the power of the optical signals after the attenuation by the VOA 130 on a wavelength basis. An optical receiver (PD2) 143 detects power of optical signals after multiplexing by a multiplexer 140 for multiplexing the optical signals of the respective wavelengths. A monitoring control part 170 controls the VOA 130 so that the power values of the optical signals of the respective wavelengths detected by the optical receiver (PD1) 131 are each set at a target value, controls the VOA 130 so that the power values of the optical signals of the respective wavelengths are each set at a target value based on the power after the multiplexing of the optical signals detected by the optical receiver (PD2) 143 and information of the number of wavelengths of the optical signals being input, and eliminates wavelength deviation of the power of the optical signals of the respective wavelengths. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
