PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, an information recording device, a provision device and a communication method, wherein leakage or the like of confidential information is prevented, in the system for providing APS (Application Service Provider) service to a terminal device operated by a user from the provision device providing the APS service with a portal site provided from the information recording device recording the confidential information of the user as a window. SOLUTION: The information recording device 1 issues authentication information to the terminal device 3, and issues specification information for specifying the confidential information to the provision device 2. The specification information is recorded in a source sentence described with a screen provided to the terminal device 3 by the provision device 2, and the authentication information and the specification information are transmitted to the information recording device 1 from the terminal device 3. The information recording device 1 transmits the confidential information only when the authentication information and the specification information are valid.
