<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain resin particles having a sharp particle size distribution and excellent in low-temperature fixability and hot storage resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The resin particles (C) for an electrophotographic toner are obtained by fixing resin fine particles (A) containing a crystalline resin (a) having a degree of crystallinity of 20-95%, a melting point of 50-150°C and a number average molecular weight of 500-1,000,000 or forming a coating of the resin fine particles (A) on a surface of resin particles (B) containing a resin (b).
