<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an event information provision device and an event information provision method, for providing event information useful to immediately decide an event in which a user participates out of a plurality of events. <P>SOLUTION: In the event information provision device, and event information provision method or the like, a plurality of pieces of movie performance information for specifying movie performance by performance theaters, performance dates, and performance works are accumulated, and a timely comment is received from the user in each movie performance and is stored. When receiving input of information for specifying an area suitable to appreciate a movie from the user, the area suitable to appreciate the movie is specified based on the information.
