<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form computed tomography images of substances of more than two kinds selected beforehand by multi-material decomposition. <P>SOLUTION: A method for obtaining a multi-material decomposition image is disclosed. This method includes a step (62) to acquire an image pair from a dual energy computer tomography scanning of an imaged object, a step (64) to select a substance basis for multi-material decomposition of the image pair, a step (66) to apply a physicochemical model about the substance basis, and a step (72) to execute the multi-material decomposition using at least one restriction imposed by this physicochemical model. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
