PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can properly perform a hue adjustment (white balance adjustment). SOLUTION: The imaging device has a first white balance adjustment function to adjust a white balance based on a captured image and a second white balance adjustment function to adjust the white balance based on color temperature information of a strobe device. An external strobe device 400 can be attached to the imaging device as a master strobe device for controlling a slave strobe device that is freely deployed. Moreover, a system control unit 50, an interface 110, and a strobe control unit 406 have a function to determine a presence of slave strobe light emission of the slave strobe device. Moreover, the system control unit 50 has a function to select and control the first white balance adjustment function when it is determined that the slave strobe is emitted.
