PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device configured so that even only one operator can easily perform nozzle maintenance work. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording device includes: an ejection nozzle for ejecting ink supplied from an ink tank by a supply pump as ink particles; a charging electrode for charging the ink particles for use in printing among the ink particles ejected from the nozzle with a charging voltage; a deflection electrode for applying a deflection voltage to the ink particles charged by the charging electrode so as to deflect the flying direction of the ink particles; a circulation pump disposed halfway in a tube connecting the ink tank and the nozzle to each other; a gutter for collecting the ink particles not charged by the charging electrode; and a detecting sensor. In the inkjet recording device, in a predetermined period after detection by the detection sensor, the supply pump and the circulation pump are driven so as to generate a negative pressure in the ink ejecting portion of the nozzle.
