<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle component absorbing noise by Helmholtz resonator and manufacturable with lower cost than ever, and also to provide a manufacturing method of the same. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An engine cover 10 as a vehicle component has a hollow room 24 at a boundary part between an engine cover body 11 and a foam molded article 20. The hollow room 24 is constituted by closing the opening 15A of a recess part 15 formed to the engine cover body 11 with the foam molded article 20 having a resonance hole 23.
