<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric blower, in which adhesiveness between upstream blades and a fan cover is improved without additional processing or additional components. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A plurality of upstream blades 122 mutually separated in a circumferential direction are provided to be opposed to an outer peripheral side of a centrifugal fan 46. A diffuser 47 is disposed between the upstream blades 122, 122 to partition upstream air ducts 136 straightening air blown out of the centrifugal fan 46, to the outer peripheral side. The fan cover 48 is attached to the motor 45 to cover a part of the diffuser 47 and the centrifugal fan 46. Recess parts 150 in which the upstream blades 122 are respectively inserted and fitted with the fan cover 48 attached to a motor 45, are formed to the fan cover 48.
