PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a liquid filter which is pliable as it is made of polypropylene melt-blow unwoven fabric, and shows excellent uniformity and high inhibition rate of microparticles without undermining the flow of liquid. SOLUTION: This liquid filter is made of a melt-blow unwoven fabric formed of an extremely fine polypropylene fiber with not less than 0.5 μm to less than 1.0 μm of average fiber diameter and not more than 5 μm of maximum pore diameter and not more than 2 μm of average pore diameter as measured in terms of the amount applied of 60 g/m<SP>2</SP>.
