<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a program execution apparatus for shortening the switching period (mode switching period) of operating mode. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This program execution apparatus includes a suspending section 161 for evacuating a program to be suspended executed in one operating mode to a storage 163 when the one operating mode is switched to the other operating mode, a resuming section 162 for resuming the program to be suspended evacuated to the storage 163 in the one operating mode when the other operating mode is switched to the one operating mode, an informing section 165 for informing the other operating mode of the program to be suspended, and a specifying section 166 for specifying a specifying program from the program to be suspended.
