<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve occupant restraining performance by suppressing the pressure of a chest and the like by an arm upon expansion/deployment even if the arm of an occupant shifts downward from a place corresponding to an arm pushing suppressing uniting portion before the expansion/deployment of an airbag. <P>SOLUTION: The arm pushing suppressing uniting portion 50 is formed by joining both cloth portions 33, 34 at a position corresponding to the arm of the occupant. The thickness in a vehicular width direction of the airbag 30 is regulated to suppress the pressing of the arm to the inner side in the vehicular width direction. A support uniting portion 60 joins both cloth portions 33, 34 at a place lower than a lower end 50B of the arm pushing suppressing uniting portion 60 and behind a front end 50F, when the airbag 30 is disposed in a posture making a straight line portion 36 extend in a vertical direction. The support uniting portion 60 projects out to the arm pushing suppressing uniting portion 50 side from a straight line L1 connecting a lower end 30B of the airbag 30 and a lower end 36B of the straight line portion 36.
