<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a content data input/output method with which an optimal format taking into consideration mutual performance of connection devices can be requested to the opposite-side connection device. <P>SOLUTION: A content data input/output method includes: communicating with an opposite-side device to recognize the opposite-side device; selecting an output format corresponding to device identification information of the opposite-side device from an output format list on which the device identification information is made corresponding to the output format, notifying the opposite-side device of the selected output format; and receiving content data of the selected output format transmitted from the opposite-side device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
