METHOD FOR CONTROLLING POWER OF A PLURALITY OF POWER SUPPLY UNITS, AND POWER CONTROL DEVICE, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling the power of a plurality of power supply units which can reduce deterioration of the power supply units.

SOLUTION: An upper limit threshold to be a determination standard for turning on a power supply unit of an off state and a lower limit threshold to be a determination standard for turning off a power supply unit of an on state are set. The upper limit threshold is a value smaller than a value obtained by subtracting the power consumption of one power-supplied device whose increase in the power consumption is expected from the maximum suppliable power of the power supply unit of the on state. The lower limit threshold is a value smaller than a value obtained by subtracting a total value of the maximum suppliable power of one power supply unit and the power consumption of two power-supplied devices from the maximum suppliable power of the power supply unit of the off state.
