摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a compact battery fixing structure with a locking mechanism for fixing a battery not requiring itself pulling-in of the battery. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A battery frame 2 is inserted into a battery storing vacant space 3 from a downward opening of the battery storing vacant space 3 by raising the battery frame while holding a retracted alignment position with respect to the battery storing vacant space 3 as shown by the solid arrow, and the battery frame 2 is then slid within the vacant space 3 toward the front of a vehicle. Thus, battery side hooks 22 on both sides of the battery frame 2 engage with battery storing vacant space side hooks 21 on both sides of the vacant space 3. By the hook engagement and the function of preventing retraction of the battery frame 2 owing to a locking member 23 fit into a recess 2b on this occasion, the battery frame 2 is fixed into the vacant space 3.
