<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reaping machine for enhancing work efficiency in a dark place in the night, evening and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The reaping machine comprises a body having a power source, an operation rod attached to the body and a terminal tool for carrying out a weeding operation at the point of the operation rod. The work efficiency can be enhanced by equipping the reaping machine with at least one illumination means for illuminating the terminal tool and right and left sides thereof to visualize the terminal tool and the lateral sides thereof even in the dark owing to the illumination means.
