PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrochemical device which is thin though functional deterioration caused by short circuit or fracture of a member does not occur and is excellent on flexibility, in spite of mounting on a section accompanying a bend with a large curvature to one direction or a local bending motion such as a hinge of an electronic device. SOLUTION: An assembled body 10 of a lithium-ion secondary battery as an electrochemical device is connected by knitting a wire-shaped or rod-shaped cell 7 by flexible fibers (or beltlike body) 8, 12, and is molded at a sheet shape. The fibers (or beltlike body) 8, 12 for connecting between adjacent cells 7 are bent in advance in order to curve or bend the sheet-shaped structure. An external collector layer 6 of the cell 7 comes into contact with the fiber 12 connected with an external electrode 13 and made of a conductor.
