PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that in a kaleidoscope provided with a transparent cylinder type object, the field of view of a polygonal mirror is limited to a part of the cylinder type object, the possibility of the object pieces existing out of the field of view coming into the field of view is small even rotating the object case, therefore the object pieces appear as the images are restricted and the images look poor in variety. SOLUTION: The object case is constituted such that it is automatically made to move to the left and right along the direction of the cylinder while rotating so as the field of view of the kaleidoscope and the position of the object case are not fixed at a point, wherein the moving speed of the object case to the left and right and the rotation speed are made into a constant relation, while the object pieces existing out of the field of view travel through the inside and outside of the field of view according to the timing of rotation and the left and right travelling successively.
