PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for stamping a foil which improves foil-cutting ability without being restricted by a material of a foil piece in foil stamping. SOLUTION: In the die for stamping the foil, a surface of a foil sheet is pressed and cut into a foil piece with a predetermined shape, and the foil piece is pressed to an object to be transferred arranged at the rear surface side of the sheet and is attached to the object to be transferred. The die 10 for stamping the foil includes a pressing part 11 having the same shape and size as those of the foil piece and has a blade 12 protruding in a pressing direction over the whole circumference at the edge of the pressing part 11.
