<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic document feeding device in which a reading window of a scanner unit provided inside can be easily cleaned. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An automatic document feeding device 2 is constructed of an ADF body section 48, a body cover 40 and a scanner unit 8 set between them. A scanner unit 8 is divided into a first unit 21 with a reading window 11, mirrors 12a, 12c and a first frame 23, and a second unit 22 coupled with the first unit and with a mirror 12b, a lens 13, a CCD 14 and a second frame 24. An outer frame 25, which has been integrated with the first frame 23, is connected to a rotational axis 59 that is a shaft center of a delivery roller 52, and is movable independently relative to the second unit 22.
