摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heating apparatus which enhances energetic efficiency, easily increases the temperatures of a glass block, such as a preform, and a metallic mold, and shortens the time required for press molding. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The heating apparatus 10 has a heating surface 15 on which a metallic mold 20 for press molding is placed and heated. The apparatus 10 also has a heating source part 11; a heat transfer part 12 which neighbors to the heating source part 11, constitutes the heating surface 15, and consists of a highly heat-conductive material with a thermal conductivity λ<SB>1</SB>; and a heat shielding part 13 consisting of a lowly heat-conductive material which covers the heat transfer part 12 except the heating source part 11 and/or the heating surface 15 and has a thermal conductivity λ<SB>2</SB>(λ<SB>1</SB>>λ<SB>2</SB>).
