<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steel pipe pile which achieves the facilitation of the attachment and detachment of a head body and an increase in truck loading efficiency by attaching the head body to a pile body by means of a bolt and a nut. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An upper end of the head body 3 of a drilling head 2 is provided with a base tube portion 6 to which a lower end of the pile body 1 made of a steel pipe is to be externally fitted; the lower end of the pile body 1 is provided with a bolt insertion hole 7; a bolt insertion hole 8 is provided in a position corresponding to the pile body-side bolt insertion hole 7 in the base tube portion 6; a nut holding portion 9 for holding the nut 10, inserted from above the base tube portion 6, in an unrotatable and axially-immovable manner in a position to face each bolt insertion hole 8 is provided on the side of the inner peripheral surface of the base tube portion 6; the lower end of the pile body 1 is externally suitable for the base tube portion 6 of the head body 3; and the bolt 12 is inserted through each base tube portion-side bolt insertion hole 8 from the bolt insertion hole 7 on the side of the pile body 1, and screwed into the nut 10 which is held in each nut holding portion 9, so that the head body 3 can be attached and fixed to the lower end of the pile body 1.
