<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveying device flexibly arranged on peripheral and adjacent facilities. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A conveying body includes a flat surface-like loading part 21 for loading an object to support the object from the underside and a pair of locking parts which project from the loading part 21 and lock the object, to support the object on sides. Each locking part includes a plurality of locking pieces 221 arranged parallel to each other in the direction in which the object is conveyed. Each locking piece 221 is constituted so that the amount thereof projecting from the loading part 21 can be changed individually when the conveying body is rotated endlessly.
