<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for mounting the hood of a vehicle maintaining the shape of the hood, and reducing weight of the hood. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The hood 4 includes hinge mounting parts 22 mounted in hinge members 3. The hinge members 3 are arranged in a fixed state on both sides of an engine room. The separated distance of the respective hinge mounting parts 22 in the hood 4 is set to be wider than the width between the respective hinge members 3. When the hood 4 is mounted in the hinge members 3, a hood body 21 is bent, and the separated distance between the respective hinge mounting parts 22 is narrowed, and then, it is mounted between the hinge members 3.
