<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a working tool formed by longitudinally connecting at least two members different in material according to requirements and the like. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The working tool A includes a rod-like body part 1 and a working part 2 provided at the end thereof for working a workpiece. The body part 1 comprises at least two members 1A, 1B longitudinally different in material, wherein: an insertion hole 3 is formed in either of connection end parts of the two members; an insertion part 4 is formed on the other, which is inserted into the insertion hole 3 and has a diameter-expanding hole 4B opened on the side of an insertion end part; the length of the insertion part 4 is configured to be shorter than the depth of the insertion hole 3; and a base part 5B has a thickness dimension (t) equal to the shorter dimension. The body part 1 is integrally formed by connecting the two members by press-fitting the insertion part 4 into the insertion hole 3 after inserting a diameter-expanding material 5, whose end part 5A has a distal end smaller in diameter than the diameter-expanding hole 4B and a proximal end larger in diameter than the diameter-expanding hole, into the insertion hole 3 with the base part 5B positioned on its hole bottom side.
