A nucleic acid molecule, selected from the group consisting of a) a nucleic acid molecule having the nucleotide sequence shown in SEQ ID:NO 1, 4 or 6, b) a nucleic acid molecule coding a peptide with the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID:NO 2, 3, 5, 7 or 8, c) a nuclei acid molecule, the complementary strand of which hybridizes a nucleic acid molecule according to a) or b) and codes a peptide with antimicrobial activity, and d) a nucleic acid molecule, the nucleotide sequence of which varies from the nucleotide sequence of a nucleic acid molecule according to c) due to degenerated genetic code.
