The present invention relates to a mould for continuous casting of a cast-piece and a method for controlling the cooling performance of the mould. Specifically, in the mould for continuous casting of cast-pieces, a plurality of dimples (114,214) are formed on the inner surfaces of the moulds (100, 200) to reduce cooling speed of a solidification layer for forming a cast-piece, and control cooling performance of moulds. The dimples (114, 214) are mainly formed from 50mm in an upward direction to 100mm in a downward direction of the molten metal during casting. According to the structure and the method for controlling cooling performance, a uniform solidification layer is formed by facilitating cooling performance at a uniform rate on the entire surface of the cast-piece, which prevents generation of casting defects.
