<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasound system and method for providing volume information on periodically moving target object. <P>SOLUTION: This ultrasound system includes: an ultrasound data acquisition unit operated to receive ultrasound echo signals reflected from a target object and acquire a plurality of ultrasound data; and a processor operated to form volume data including a plurality of frames based on the plurality of ultrasound data, set a moving period of the target object based on the volume data, reconstruct the volume data into a plurality of sub-volume data based on the moving period and measure volume of the target object based on the plurality of sub-volume data to thereby form volume information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
