<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Hadamard transform circuit calculating two kinds of Hadamard transform and suppressing an increase in a transform circuit area. <P>SOLUTION: A 4×4 Hadamard transform result calculated by a 4×4 Hadamard transform circuit is stored in a register array. A 8×8 Hadamard transform circuit reads the 4×4 Hadamard transform result from the register array, and uses the 4×4 Hadamard transform result to perform 8×8 Hadamard transform.
