<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system for easily suppressing the concentration degradation of liquid fuel on the side of an anode and the dry-up on the side of a cathode. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 2 includes a fuel cell 3 having an electrolyte layer 8 in which anion components are movable, the anode 9 arranged on one side of the electrolyte layer 8 for the liquid fuel to be supplied thereto, and the cathode 10 arranged on the other side of the electrolyte layer 8 for oxygen to be supplied thereto.
