<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid-state image pickup device changing the size of a photodiode corresponding to a handled wavelength band to generate proper sensitivity balance per color. <P>SOLUTION: This solid-state image pickup device 1 has: a pixel 10 in which a plurality of light receiving regions B, R, Gb and Gr corresponding to various wavelengths are arranged; and an element separating part 20 separating the plurality of light receiving regions B, R, Gb and Gr into a size corresponding to a light irradiation energy profile at each wavelength handled by the plurality of light receiving regions B, R, Gb and Gr in the pixel part 10.
