摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide bond flux for the downward fillet submerged arc welding capable of obtaining the excellent welding workability and mechanical performance of a weld metal even in a high-heat input submerged arc welding. SOLUTION: The bond flux for the downward fillet submerged arc welding contains, by mass, 12-30% SiO<SB>2</SB>, 10-25% MgO, 8-21% Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 1-7% CaF<SB>2</SB>, 2-13% CaO, 10-30% TiO<SB>2</SB>, 0.1-1% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 1-8% FeO, 1-5% Na<SB>2</SB>O, 0.1-1% Li<SB>2</SB>O, 2-8% CO<SB>2</SB>portion of metal carbonate, 0.1-1% Mn and 0.1-5% Si, and the balance inevitable impurities.
