PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element driving device capable of correcting the drive voltage of a light emitting element with a correction value depending on the format for preparing an image to be formed on the basis of image data, and to provide an image forming device and a light emitting element drive control program. SOLUTION: A plotting mode determination part 38 determines a plotting mode based on the image data for every specified plotting mode unit. An offset amount outputting part 40 acquires the offset amount corresponding to the determined plotting mode from a storage 42 and outputs it to a correction circuit 50 for correcting the drive voltage of LD 20. In the correction circuit 50, the electric current Icin depending on the offset voltage applied to the gate of a transistor 62 is outputted from a drain, and the drive voltage is corrected by a voltage value obtained by performing current potential conversion in a resistance 64.
